AMD 2013 Membership Renewal is in Effect — Membership Renewal Deadline is January 1, 2013

Annual membership renewal is in process for all current Distributor Members; Associate Members: Manufacturers and Service Providers; and Affiliate Millwork Professionals: Reps and Co-Operative Organizations. AMD′s membership recruitment incentive program is in place to support members to recruit new distributors to the association.

2013 Membership Renewal
Distributor Members: October 4, 2012 all Distributor Members were mailed an annual ″Dues Recertification Membership Form″ to re-qualify the company and report any changes in branch entities, personnel, etc. November month end, a letter addressing the 2012 AMD bylaw changes, dues structure and association initiatives accompanied an initial notice which was mailed to the main contact on file for each member company. Once renewal payments are received, company membership records will be updated as specified. Please be sure that your company is current in all payments due to AMD to avoid any delays and fees in renewing your membership.

Associate Members and Affiliated Millwork Professional: November month end, a letter addressing the 2012 AMD bylaw changes, dues structure and association initiatives accompanied an initial notice which was mailed to the main contact on file for each member company. Once renewal payments are received, company membership records will be updated as specified. Please be sure that your company is current in all payments due to AMD to avoid any delays and fees in renewing your membership. Reps remember you will receive one (1) complimentary convention registration for 2013 when renewing membership dues are received prior to January 1, 2013.

Membership Benefits
AMD continues with its strategic goals moving the Association in new directions, bringing added value to members. AMD offers an array of services and benefits and is continually exploring options to enhance benefits and resources made available to members. Technology enhancements allow AMD to deliver online education on a new level. AMD members receive benefits which include discounted online education, and meeting and convention registration fees. The Association advocacy efforts profile AMD as a major contributor representing the millwork industry with codes and standard agencies.

This year, membership dues contribution, along with the generous sponsorship from AMD members, provides the resources for AMD to complete product testing associated with the AMD 100 standard; moving us one step closer to AMD′s first ANSI accredited standard. Resources allow us to provide quality networking events such as, seminars and plant tours, annual conferences, and the annual convention and tradeshow.

Membership Recruitment Incentive Program
The AMD Membership Recruitment Incentive Program is a program intended to promote recruitment within AMD′s membership. It′s essential for members to invest in multiple aspects of the organization including the current Membership; enhancing and growing the organization resulting in added value to all AMD Members. Members who assist in the successful recruitment of a new distributor member can receive complimentary meeting or convention registration or hotel packages and discount on membership dues and more. Incentives are a value to each respective membership category.
