At AMD we know the best form of recruitment comes from personal referrals. Moving forward our mission is to increase the membership in your association with the best distributors in the millwork industry - and no one else is better suited than YOU to provide those referrals. The Membership Committee's efforts are focused on the recruitment of new distributor members and would like to call upon you, the Manufacturer, in Building a Stronger Association.

Why is it important for our Manufacturers to get involved with AMD?
The nucleus of any association is its members. Every step we take towards strengthening our association continues to allow us to be an active advocate representing AMD member interests in the millwork industry. This year our AMD Manufacturers were a driving force in contacting their customers to voice a prompt response to the concerns with the S141 code issue. Once again, AMD is calling on its Manufacturers to reach out and connect with your distributors and prehangers about becoming apart of the Association of Millwork Distributors. We can all benefit from Building a Stronger Association.

Interested in saving on your registration to the AMD 44th Annual Convention or even attending for FREE?
Beginning June 16th through October 1st, 2008, AMD will be offering AMD manufacturer members substantial registration discounts and the opportunity to receive a FREE 2008 Annual Convention registration when you encourage a distributor customer, who is not an AMD member, to register to attend the convention.

Here's how it works..
For every non-member distributor company you refer who qualifies to register for a full convention registration to attend the AMD 44th Annual Convention, you will receive a discount off your 2008 Annual Convention registration. The more non-member distributor companies who attend the Convention from your referrals, the closer you are to receiving your convention registration FREE; AND the opportunity to win a complimentary standard hotel room for two (2) consecutive nights during the 2008 Annual Convention at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Kissimmee, Florida, from October 11-16, 2008.

The concept behind the AMD "Building a Stronger Association" is simple

   25% registration discount - One (1) non-member Distributor Company
  50% registration discount - Two (2) non-member Distributor companies
  75 % registration discount - Three (3) non-member Distributor companies

FREE registration - Four (4) non-member Distributor companies

2008 Manufacturer Building Stronger Association Campaign Guidelines
For every non-member distributor company (regardless of the number of non-member distributors that register from that one company) that qualifies to attend the AMD 2008 Annual Convention; and registers for a full convention registration badge, registers at the AMD host hotel for the convention (the Gaylord Palms Resort) for the duration of their stay; the AMD member manufacturer whose name is provided by the non-member distributor registrant(s) from that one company, will qualify for a predetermined discount(s) towards his/her registration for the 2008 Annual Convention as outlined in the Building a Stronger Association campaign. Registration discounts associated with this campaign are only for AMD manufacturers; are applied only to the referring AMD manufacturer's name which is provided by the non-member distributor registrant at the time of registration; discounts/free registrations as outlined in the Building a Stronger Association campaign are not transferable; and cannot be transferred to any other person/employee within or outside the referring manufacturing company or person. Convention registration discount(s) or those discounts adding up to a free registration are based solely on the number of non-member distributor companies; not the number of employees from that one company; multiple registrants from the same non-member distributor company do not qualify for the AMD manufacturer to receive any further discounts. AMD has the right to deny admittance into the 2008 AMD Annual Convention if a registrant does not meet the AMD Bylaw membership criteria; the 2008 AMD Annual Convention is a closed show to the public. Annual Convention registration discounts are valid for the 2008 AMD Convention only; will not carry over; can not be applied towards any other AMD Annual Convention year; are not redeemable for cash, future credit or voucher or be applied to any other portion or part of the 2008 Annual Convention. AMD manufacturers who are eligible according to the "Building a Stronger Association" campaign rules will be entered into a final drawing; one (1) winner will be selected on September 26, 2008 to receive one standard room for two (2) consecutive room nights at the Gaylord Palms Resort between October 11th and till October 15th, 2008; the winner will be notified within five (5) business days; the winner can not transfer the room nights or value to another person. AMD determines the drawing date and reserves the right to alter this date at any given time; any named prizes, discounts, or any other are not redeemable for cash, voucher, or credit; claimed prizes are only valid through October 15, 2008; all incentives, discounts, and any other named reward associated with this campaign is void after October 15, 2008. AMD manufacturers will receive the confirmed accumulated discount amount based on the number of non-member distributor companies, AMD will determine the amount to be discounted from the participant's registration category fee and will issue the discounted total in an AMD check; payable only to the manufacture member's name as referenced from the non-member full registrant; after the AMD 2008 Annual Convention; between October 31, 2008 and December 1, 2008. AMD reserves the right to determine the appropriate method of payment for the discount; to substitute, eliminate, or change any prize, reward, incentive, or award offered with the "Building a Stronger Association" Campaign at any given time and without due notice.
