Doorframer Inc. has addressed every aspect of protecting a door. Whether it’s Closure Clips, Hinge Protectors, Corner Supports or Bottom Straps, Doorframer has the right part to keep your door safe. Our products are uniquely designed to serve more than one purpose. For instance, our Hinge Protectors not only firmly snap on to the hinge providing superior protection but are retrofitted with a 1” spacer as an added safeguard to the door face and head preventing “A” framing when palletizing single or double doors. Our Closure Clips hold the door closed as designed and maintain proper reveal through installation. Our Bottom Straps hold the slab tight to the jamb and prevent “chattering” which can cause damage to the jambs, hinges, and head joints.

To keep your door square during shipping, our T-Spacers maintain the correct reveal and are equipped with a tab used as a guide to apply casing during installation. For the heavier doors, our Racking Spacer is ideal for preventing sag.

In response to customer demand, Doorframer Inc successfully launched two additional products to compliment our CL3 Closure Clip: The 2 ¾” Backset Closure Clip (CL-5) and the Split Jamb Closure Clip (CL-4). With a reinforced plastic molded construction, the 2 ¾” Backset Closure Clip fits all 2 ¾” backset doors, specifically, heavy entry doors from manufacturing through installation.

The Split Jamb Closure Clip is installed on the pre-hung door prior to the application of the casing. Similar to all Doorframer closure systems, the Split Jamb Closure Clip is a one piece part, secured by staples into the jamb. All three closure systems securely fit both 5/8” and 11/16” jamb widths, delivering high performance quality and ease of installation.

These are just a few of the many innovative ideas that have been developed and implemented over the last decade.

In an industry like ours where margins are tight, solving multiple problems with a single part, reducing the cost, and saving time is of key importance. Shipping and packaging components are critical in reducing returns from damage through shipping and customer handling.
